Glögg is a popular Scandinavian mulled wine made with red wine, port, spices, fruit and nuts. Make this comforting hot cocktail when the weather is cold to warm you up and lift your spirits.

6 oz / 150 ml 9 oz / 225 ml 12 oz / 300 ml 18 oz / 450 ml	Cognac	Maison Rouge V.S.O.P.
1⁄2 cups 3⁄4 cups 1 cups 1 1⁄2 cups	Demerara Sugar
1⁄4 cups 1⁄2 cups 1⁄2 cups 3⁄4 cups	Raisins
4 whole 6 whole 8 whole 12 whole	Green Cardamom Pods
8 whole 12 whole 16 whole 24 whole	Cloves
2 sticks 3 sticks 4 sticks 6 sticks	Cinnamon

Notes

• Method: Simmered
• Pour: Ladle
• Glassware: Wine
• Garnish: Raisins from the pot
• Special Prep: Heat the alcohol in a non-reactive pot, but do not boil. Add sugar and spices in a pouch. Simmer for20 minutes. Take off the heat and add raisins. Let rest for one hour. Remove spice bag and serve hot.
