Ingredients

  • 6 oz / 169 g semi-sweet chocolate

  • 1/2 c / 100 g sugar

  • 1/3 c rum

  • 3 T light corn syrup

  • 2 c crushed vanilla wafers (approx. 50)

  • 1 c / 140 g ground walnuts

  • sugar to coat

Method

In a saucepan, melt chocolate over low heat.

When melted, remove from the heat and stir in the sugar, rum and corn syrup.

Fold in wafers and nuts.

Shape mixture into 1 inch diameter balls and roll in sugar.

Store in airtight container for three days before eating.
