Ingredients

- 24 oz / 678 g semi-sweet chocolate
- 2 c / 400 g sugar
- 1.25 c rum
- 12 T light corn syrup
- 8 c crushed vanilla wafers (approx. 50)
- 4 c / 560 g ground walnuts
- sugar to coat
Method
In a saucepan, melt chocolate over low heat.
When melted, remove from the heat and stir in the sugar, rum and corn syrup.
Fold in wafers and nuts.
Shape mixture into 1 inch diameter balls and roll in sugar.
Store in airtight container for three days before eating.
