- 2 lb / 908 g fresh cranberries or 1 sixteen ounce package frozen cranberries
- 2.5 c / 500 g sugar
- 2 c / 676 g red current preserves
- 2 c / 454 g water
- 2 c / 280 g coarsely chopped walnuts
- 4 T grated orange peel
Method
Combine cranberries, preserves, sugar and water in large saucepan.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Skim foam, remove from heat. Stir in walnuts and orange peel
Refrigerate, covered, overnight.
