Ingredients
Scaled 1.5
- 1.5 lightly beaten egg
- 1.25 c / 188 g soft bread crumbs
- 0.75 c / 180 g sour cream
- 3 T dry onion soup mix
- 0.5 t allspice
- 0.5 t nutmeg
- 0.75 lb / 341 g ground beef
- 0.75 lb / 341 g ground pork
- 3 T flour
- 1.5 T / 18 g oil
- 1.5 c / 341 g beef stock
- 1.5 T flour
- 3 T / 43 g water
- 3 T parsle
Method
- In a bowl, combine egg, bread crumbs, sour cream, soup mix, allspice, nutmeg.
- Add beef and pork, mix well
- Shape into 15 balls.
- Coat with the 2 tablespoons of flour
- Brown in a skillet for approx. 10 minutes
- Reduce heat and add stock
- Simmer covered for 15 minutes
- Remove meatballs
- Combine the 1 tablespoon flour and 2 tablespoons of water and thicken the stock, stirring for 1 minute
- Return meatballs and simmer
- Add parsley when ready to serve
Server over rice or egg noodles
