Ingredients

  • Meat

  • 3 chillis sliced into rounds

  • 7 small cloves of garlic, chopped

  • 3 thumbs of ginger, grated

  • 6 scallions chopped

  • 500 g minced beef

  • 500 g minced pork

  • 1 lime's zest and juice

  • 2 t brown sugar

  • Sauce

  • 2 t brown sugar

  • 3 T soy sauce

  • 1 T dark soy sauce

  • 1 T sesame oil

  • 1 chilli chopped

  • 1 small bunch coriander, chopped

  • 1/2 lime juice

  • 2 heads of Cos lettuce leaves separated and washed

Serve this in a bowl, hot. Eat on Cos lettuce leaves and spoon on the sauce.

Method

  1. mix sauce and let sit
  2. brown meats in a hot wok
  3. season well
  4. remove meat
  5. in the wok, add sesame oil and fry the garlic, chilli, ginger and brown sugar
  6. add meat back and mix
  7. add soy sauce
  8. add scallions
