Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh cranberries or 1 sixteen ounce package frozen cranberries
- 1 1/4 c sugar
- 1 c red current preserves
- 1 c water
- 1 c coarsely chopped walnuts
- 2 T grated orange peel
Method
Combine cranberries, preserves, sugar and water in large saucepan.
Heat to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer uncovered 20 minutes. Skim foam, remove from heat. Stir in walnuts and orange peel
Refrigerate, covered, overnight.
