This dish may be prepared in advance or frozen before baking.
Method
pasta
- cook pasta according to package directions, drain and cool
stuffing
- sauté onion in olive oil until transparent
- add meats and brown
- add rest of stuffing ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes
sauce
- mix soups, milk, wine and cheese together in large pan
- cook stirring over medium heat, bring nearly to boil for 30 minutes
- add salt and pepper to taste
cooking
- take cooled pasta and stuff with meat mixture
- place in shallow baking dish in single layer
- place thinly sliced mozzarella between pasta
- pour sauce over all
- sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
- bake at 325F until bubbly (45 minutes to 1 hour)
- Broil/grill to brown top before serving.
